Save the Date: The Children’s Center of Hamden will participate in The Great Give May 4-5, an annual 36-hour online-giving event to support local nonprofits by matching them with donors, created by The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven and co-sponsored by the Valley Community Foundation.

Founded in 1833, Children’s Center of Hamden has served the community for over 186 years, currently providing outreach and support to approximately 150 children and teens each day. They’ve continued their services throughout the pandemic, caring for approximately 40 individuals on campus, while offering tele-therapy, support groups, outreach, and on-line education, and working with community partners to address needs ranging from food insecurity to mental health treatment to child abuse prevention.
